How can we help?

Answers to the questions people ask most. If yours is not here, write to us and a real person will reply.

Getting started

What does Blinky need?

macOS 14 or later on a Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or newer).

Where did Blinky go?

Closing the floating head sends it to the menu bar. Click Blinky in the menu bar to bring it back.

Do I need an account?

No. Everything works without one, and Blinky never goes online unless you sign in. An account only lets your alarms, tasks and notes follow you to another Mac.

Accounts and sync

My things are not showing on my other Mac

Check that both Macs are signed in to the same account in Blinky Settings, under Account, and that both are online. A Mac sends its changes a few seconds after you make them and checks for new ones every five minutes, so the other Mac can take up to five minutes to catch up.

I did not get the sign-up code

Look in your spam folder, then ask for a new code from the same screen. Each code works for 15 minutes.

What is never synced?

Your clipboard history and the Shelf stay on your Mac. They are never sent anywhere.

Deleting your account

In Blinky, open Settings, choose Account and press Delete account. No Mac to hand? Use the delete account page. Nothing is erased for 30 days, so you can change your mind by signing in again.
